About Cypria Auctions

Cypria Auctions, in cooperation with K Antiques & Fine Arts Ltd, successfully launched the island’s first major sale of 19th and 20th century art by Greek and Cypriot artists in December 2006.

Five auctions were held from December 2006 to December 2008. All auctions were held at The Hilton, Nicosia and achieved a momentous level of success. In 2009 Cypria Auctions announced that it will hold a series of sales of The Iacovos Georgiades Collection.

Since Cypria Auctions was founded the company’s partners have been consulted concerning their area of expertise by the likes of Chrisites, London, major cultural foundations, art collectors and insurance companies. The National Gallery, London has also directed people towards our partners concerning their area of expertise. The company has been selected by the work placement teams of Birkbeck University, City University and The American University in London.

Cypria Auctions is not only a pioneer in showcasing Cypriot works of art that are of significant artistic value, but is also committed to introducing some of the finest Greek mainland artists.
